Many of you voted, put forward nominations, or ran as a candidate. Thank you for your engagement in our elections. This year, there were 19 candidates running for 6 positions, and voter participation was excellent with 37.1% of member firms voting.

On behalf of the 2025 Board of Directors, the ECA, and member firms, I would like to acknowledge and thank our outgoing directors, Derek Ciezki, Darryl Wiebe, Bert DeBruin, Daniel McAllister and Dustin Bennett. We are grateful for their time, dedication, and commitment that they have given to our organization, and our industry over the years.

We sincerely thank our board for the expertise and many hours that they offer on behalf of our industry. The work of the ECA Directors over the past 93 years continues to be a solid foundation for creativity, optimism, and healthy relationships that define our industry.

The ECA Board of Directors and I look forward to seeing you at our Builder’s Connect Expo (BCE), our premiere gathering of all construction stakeholders and key leaders of industry on February 13, 2025 (please save the date). The Builder’s Connect Expo will also provide the opportunity for everyone to meet all our new and continuing board members.
